Send Flowers to Linköping, Sweden

Linköping is the main city of Östergötland, about 200 kilometres south-west of Stockholm on the E4. It is a university and aviation town with a medieval cathedral and the open-air museum quarter of Gamla Linköping. Expats and foreign-born residents with family here order flowers from abroad for a mother's birthday, a student's graduation or a quiet word of sympathy.

Swedish Mother's Day falls on the last Sunday of May, and Linköping florists sell out of peonies and roses that weekend. In June the city fills with white caps for studenten, when graduates receive bouquets on the school steps. Funerals in Sweden are usually held two to three weeks after a death, and flowers with a printed ribbon are sent to the chapel.

Order before midnight Swedish time and delivery takes place the next day. We need the recipient's phone number: the florist calls ahead and finds another time if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, tulips in spring, mixed bouquets and potted plants are all available, and your card message is printed free of charge.
