Send Flowers to Norrköping, Sweden

Norrköping is an industrial city in Östergötland on the Motala ström, about 160 kilometres south-west of Stockholm. Its riverside industrial landscape of old textile mills has been turned into a university campus and cultural quarter, and the city's trams are a local trademark. Kolmården wildlife park lies just to the north. Families with members abroad send flowers for birthdays, anniversaries and sympathy.

Mothers in Sweden are celebrated on the last Sunday in May, and Norrköping florists prepare for it as their biggest weekend of the year. Valborg on 30 April and Midsommar in June mark the arrival of spring and summer with bonfires, flowers and birch branches. Swedish funerals are held a few weeks after a death, and flowers with a message ribbon are sent to the chapel.

Order before midnight Swedish time and the bouquet is delivered the next day. The florist needs the recipient's phone number, calls ahead and rearranges if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, gerberas, mixed bouquets and potted plants are usual stock in Norrköping, and the card with your message is free.
