Send Flowers to Nyköping, Sweden

Nyköping is the county town of Södermanland, on the Baltic coast about 100 kilometres south of Stockholm, close to Skavsta airport. Its castle, Nyköpingshus, is remembered for a medieval royal feud, and the town has a harbour, a river walk and an archipelago nearby. Relatives abroad send flowers here for mothers, newborns and condolences.

Swedish Mother's Day falls on the last Sunday in May, and in Nyköping the florists fill with roses and lilies for it. Midsommar is celebrated with flower crowns along the coast, and Lucia on 13 December is marked with candles and hyacinths. For a bereavement, flowers with a printed ribbon are sent to the chapel, usually two or three weeks after the death.

Order before midnight local time and delivery takes place the next day. We need the recipient's phone number: the florist calls ahead and finds another time if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, tulips, mixed bouquets and plants are standard in Nyköping, and your message is printed on a card at no extra cost.
