Send Flowers to Skövde, Sweden

Skövde is a town in Västergötland, between lakes Vänern and Vättern, at the foot of the Billingen plateau. It has a Volvo engine plant, a garrison and a university known for game development, and it sits on the main railway between Stockholm and Gothenburg. Relatives abroad send flowers here for mothers, graduations and condolences.

Mother's Day in Sweden is the last Sunday in May, the busiest flower date in Skövde. Studenten in June brings white caps and bouquets, and Midsommar follows with flower crowns. Fars dag on the second Sunday of November and Advent mark the autumn. For a funeral, flowers with a printed ribbon are sent to the church, usually two or three weeks after the death.

Order before midnight local time for next-day delivery. The florist phones the recipient before setting out, so a mobile number is needed, and rearranges if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, tulips, mixed bouquets and plants are stocked in Skövde, and the card with your message is included free.
