Send Flowers to Södertälje, Sweden

Södertälje is a city about 30 kilometres south-west of Stockholm, on the canal that links Lake Mälaren to the Baltic. It is home to Scania trucks and a major pharmaceutical plant, and it has one of the largest Assyrian and Syriac communities outside the Middle East. Relatives spread across Europe, the Americas and Australia send flowers here for weddings, baptisms, birthdays and mourning.

Swedish Mother's Day is the last Sunday in May, though many Södertälje families also keep their own traditions, so flowers arrive here for Easter, Christmas and church feast days too. Studenten in June brings bouquets for graduates. Funerals are often large, with flowers delivered to the church or the family home ahead of the service.

Order before midnight Swedish time for next-day delivery. The florist phones the recipient first, so a mobile number is needed, and finds another time if nobody is in. Roses, lilies, gerberas, mixed bouquets and plants are readily available in Södertälje, and your message is printed on a card at no extra charge.
